Alcoholics Anonymous® is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

CheckYourself.com is a unique resource. It's a place for older teens to think in a focused way about their relationship with drugs and alcohol, and invites them to consider whether their substance use risks turning into a problem for them.

The site allows visitors to "look in the mirror" by answering quiz questions about their lifestyle, reading first-person stories, communicating with other teens, and playing decision games to see how they might act in situations involving drugs and alcohol. CheckYourself.com also gives teens a voice by allowing them to share their own "moments of truth". Most importantly, visitors will be able to get factual answers to questions about substance abuse, learn how to talk about their concerns with people who can help them, and get information about counseling and treatment facilities. CheckYourself.com also offers stickers that can be downloaded and printed onto standard size sheets of labels and traditional banners for teens to use on blogs and other personal sites.
Mohave County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Mohave County. Its duties, by state law, are both legislative and executive. The Board, as a body, is responsible for the overall management of the County government operations. The Board appoints a County Manager, responsible for the day to day operation of the County. The County Manager supervises the work of appointed department directors and is responsible for the appointment of non-elected department directors, with concurrence of the Board. In addition, the Board appoints all members of the many boards and commissions that assist these programs.
AlcoholScreening.org is a free service of Join Together, a project of the Boston University School of Public Health. AlcoholScreening.org helps individuals assess their own alcohol consumption patterns to determine if their drinking is likely to be harming their health or increasing their risk for future harm. Through education and referral, the site urges those whose drinking is harmful or hazardous to take positive action, and informs all adults who consume alcohol about guidelines and caveats for lower-risk drinking.
Since the launch of AlcoholScreening.org in April 2001, over one million people have completed the screening questionnaire and received scientifically-based feedback on their drinking patterns.

Mohave Mental Health Clinic, Inc. is the Private, Not for Profit Community Mental Health Center for Mohave County, Arizona. We are located in Mohave County which is the Northwestern part of the State. We share the primary mission of providing Emergency Mental Health Services and ongoing care and treatment to eligible members in the community. A diverse range of funding support programs for the Seriously Mentally Ill, children and families, substance abusing adults and individuals requiring crisis support.
