It is the mission of the Kingman Police Department to maintain a high quality of life for our residents and visitors, through an active partnership with the community, by being proactive in reducing crime, apprehending criminal offenders, and aggressively addressing all public safety concerns.
The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Mohave County. Its duties, by state law, are both legislative and executive. The Board, as a body, is responsible for the overall management of the County government operations. The Board appoints a County Manager, responsible for the day to day operation of the County. The County Manager supervises the work of appointed department directors and is responsible for the appointment of non-elected department directors, with concurrence of the Board. In addition, the Board appoints all members of the many boards and commissions that assist these programs.
Since the launch of AlcoholScreening.org in April 2001, over one million people have completed the screening questionnaire and received scientifically-based feedback on their drinking patterns.
Mohave Community College is a comprehensive community college serving more than 13,000 students each year. It serves the northwest portion of the State of Arizona and its neighboring communities in California, Nevada and Utah.
MCC has campuses in Kingman, Lake Havasu City, Bullhead City and Colorado City, and an extensive distance education program - MCC-Online.
Mohave Mental Health Clinic, Inc. is the Private, Not for Profit Community Mental Health Center for Mohave County, Arizona. We are located in Mohave County which is the Northwestern part of the State. We share the primary mission of providing Emergency Mental Health Services and ongoing care and treatment to eligible members in the community. A diverse range of funding support programs for the Seriously Mentally Ill, children and families, substance abusing adults and individuals requiring crisis support.
